I've now been in Grants Pass, Oregon, for about three weeks. I'm working on a new album with the Ivy Street Band. We recorded our last project about a year ago.
At this point we are trying mostly to raise money to get into a studio. We're hoping for sometime next year. We're basically ready now. We just need to get the funds that will get us there and back.
I don't know how much I'm allowed to say, but this new album (we're calling it "project Moira") is a pretty drastic departure from our first. It's a concept album, but that's about all the detail I can give.
We've scheduled a performance at the Ethereal Cafe, this Friday. I'll keep you up to speed on how that goes down.

I'm an honorary band member, so you have to let me hear some of the junk! And where did the Moira thing come from? Were you just all sitting around brainstrorming, and someone goes "hey! How about this, 'cause it's cool?" Well... sure, it's cool, but... does it have some sort of origin I should be told of?
